Troubleshooting
Quick Fixes to Try First
My system isn't responding or something looks wrong – where do I start?
The large majority of issues can be resolved with a simple restart:
1. Power down all devices : your PC, launch monitor, and any connected hardware
2. Once everything is off, switch off the surge protector (or unplug it)
3. Wait 10 seconds
4. Switch the surge protector back on and allow everything to fully boot before launching any software
If the issue continues, contact us at support@platformgolf.com.
The software won't open or keeps closing.
1. Close the application completely and re-launch it
2. If that doesn’t work, try a full system restart (power off, wait, power on)
3. Check that your internet connection is active : some features require connectivity
Still not working? Email support@platformgolf.com with a description of what you’re seeing.
My screen or display isn't showing anything.
1. Check that all cables (HDMI, power) are firmly plugged in at both ends
2. Make sure the display is switched on and set to the correct input
3. Try a full system restart
The system is saying it can't connect to the internet.
1. Check that the Wi-Fi or network cable is connected
2. Try restarting your router
3. If the connection is fine but the software still can’t connect, restart the system and try again
My launch monitor isn't detecting shots.
This is usually a device-specific issue. Try a full restart of the system first. If it continues, contact the launch monitor manufacturer directly.
Tip: If you’re using a camera-based system (such as TruGolf), worn or scuffed balls are a very common cause of misreads. Try replacing the balls.
